bescoop19/12/09 Business expansion scheme launched to help make Cork-Swansea ferry a reality

THE renewed ferry link between Cork and Swansea took a step closer this week when Cork County Council approved the investment of €200,000 in the company that will run the service, the Fastnet Line.

And, the company announced on Monday night that it has begun a Business Expansion Scheme (BES) fundraising drive to raise €1.5m in funding. The BES is designed to encourage investment in qualifying Irish companies and provides generous tax relief, at the top rate of tax, to Irish BES investors. read more - information about the BES
