News Archive - 2009a (January to June)The campaign to bring back the Swansea Cork Ferry was based around the website (www.bringbacktheswanseacorkferry.com) and intensive lobbying & promotion - both online and offline. Supporters of the campaign were invited to leave a message on an online ‘e-petition’ - and the ‘opt-in’ email addresses formed the basis of an effective viral marketing campaign. We could not have been successful without the whole-hearted support of the local press, radio and TV - so a big ‘thank you’ to those individuals and organisations.
